REGARDING Poppy the injured lurcher which was featured in the Guardian.
It is so lovely to see there are kind people who stop and pick up an injured dog, then take it to a vets who treat the terrible injuries of this neglected dog that was thin and flea infested, and the kind people who adopted Poppy.
Oddly by being abandoned and then severely injured it has turned out the best thing for this dog, but she has been so lucky.
Thank you so much to all of you involved in Poppy’s rescue, surgery, rehabilitation and rehoming.
With so many awful stories of cruelty, it is great to read happy endings for a change.
