I WAS really upset to see the headlines in last week’s Knutsford Guardian regarding the ‘deliberate’ fire at The Moor.
My first thought was ‘that this couldn’t possibly be a local person or group’.
Why would the teenagers that once enjoyed the park and the playground want to damage it for the next generation of children?
Mindless, disrespectful, antisocial youths have had great pleasure in causing damage, but why?
I walked my dog on The Moor this morning in the brilliant sunshine and saw the council working on the refurbishment.
I felt saddened that children were not able to enjoy the park because some people think that damaging a child’s playground must be clever and fun!
