Photos of war dead sought
ON BEHALF of the authorities at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, in Busan, South Korea, where over 800 British servicemen are buried, the authorities wish to obtain photographs of those servicemen interred there, and also of those who died but have no known grave.
The following are some from Cheshire who gave their lives in Korea: Lt John WH Lanyon, Spr Thomas K Evans, S/Lt Ian R. Shepley (RN), L/Cpl Frank Dytor, Sq/Ldr Graham S Hulse (RAF), Lt Victor A Dunlop, Pte Joseph Dye, Pte Joseph J Oates, P O Victor V Colman (RN), Pte Herbert S Topping.
