20mph ‘advice’
IT WAS reported in last week’s Guardian that Cheshire East is spending £1 million to advise drivers to confine their speed to 20mph around our schools.
I wonder how many parents in Knutsford realise that ‘advisory’ means just that. I think it is a shame that Cheshire East do not think our children deserve a mandatory 20mph zone around their primary schools, especially when surrounding councils like Cheshire West and Chester do.
