IN RESPONSE to the article about the organisers of the annual May Day needing to raise more money.
What about merchandise – photos, keyrings, fridge magnets etc? These could raise quite a bit. Maybe the official video to sell? Or plain old £3 a child (I know many parents will do the voluntary contribution too).
Raffle tickets is another idea, or is there one already?
Stalls on Bottom Street by the cheese yard. Charge the fair more to use heath via the council – they must make a fortune.
