I WOULD like to urge all readers to make use of your vote on May 7 and have a say in the future of the local area and the country. Make no mistake, you have a real choice, a choice between the Conservatives who look out for the few and Labour who fight for the many.

As your MP, Fiona Bruce voted for the Bedroom Tax, the further privatisation of the NHS, the rise in tuition fees and the rise in VAT. If I were your MP I would have voted against each of these.

Mrs Bruce also voted against a tax on bankers’ bonuses, a mansion tax on houses worth over £2 million and against all people having the right to marry whoever they chose, regardless of gender. If I were your MP I would have voted for each of these.

These are just a few of the differences between what I believe and am prepared to fight for on your behalf and what your Conservative candidate stands for.
