I WOULD just like to thank the Knutsford Guardian for putting on the hustings meeting last Friday and also thank Michael Cladingbowl for hosting the meeting at The Academy.
The evening was a good example of democracy in action, all five candidates had a chance to put forward their party’s views as to why we should vote for them.
Both the audience and the candidates were respectful to one another and yet there was humour without any barracking.
The questions from the audience were interesting and varied and it was interesting to hear the questions from the three students of The Academy, well done to everyone involved, a great example of how we in Britain can be so proud about the way we go about our electioneering.
