A triple win for the north west
EVERYTHING is getting busier.
HS2 plans ahead for coming generations.
The initial section is primarily to add capacity and will help free the M6 and M1 from additional heavy lorries.
But doing it in such a way that everywhere from Birmingham northwards, gets a much faster journey to London is better than continuing to tinker with existing routes.
The second section will provide more of the same, together with bringing Manchester to only 45 minutes from Birmingham, regularly throughout the day.
Surely a triple win for us in the north west?
