ON the morning of May Day I took my family to see the sanding and decorations outside the May Queen’s home.
Although I did not realise it, I dropped my car, home and other keys en route I thought I had left them at home!
I then spent hours searching for them in bags, shoes and in the most ridiculous of places.
I had given up hope of finding them when I received a letter from Booths Supermarket at Preston saying that someone had handed my keys into the shop as they had a Booths tag on them, and the staff therefore had been able to trace me.
So I would like to say many, many thanks to the person who handed them in and the staff at Booths who went to the trouble of following it up, I am very, very grateful.
