I WOULD suggest the Knutsfordian seeks help, to rid herself of all the political pollution she regurgitates while hiding behind anonymity, Guardian, March 19.

Having long experience of Bewilderwood together with my grandchildren for two years now, I see the potential for a great natural play facility for families, something missing in the main these days, since Sunday retail opening took precedence over ‘the family day’.

I spoke in full support of Bewilderwood coming to Tatton Park, both as a visiting councillor and resident and I wonder just how many people are aware that Tatton Park actually lies within the ward of Mobberley, not Knutsford?

This is not a theme park, nor anything remotely resembling one, it is a natural outdoor environment, promoting the good health and wellbeing of our future generations, promoting family bonding and prime time together, as those who have actually been to Norfolk will understand.

The night before the strategic planning meeting, I received a phone call which was both threatening and derogatory in content. I was advised to think twice before speaking in support of Bewilderwood the next day.

I have lived through a lifetime of bullies and therefore became more determined to have my say, on something I know is absolutely right and for the good of families, which lie at the heart of what I do.

Having spoken with many people over the past 12 months the overwhelming response has been positive for this facility, therefore I know it is the majority and not the minority who actually do want Bewilderwood to come to Tatton Park.

Once established, just like in Norfolk, people will grow to appreciate its value, not just in monitory terms, but in all it can achieve for the wellbeing of our children, getting them out into the fresh air and a natural play environment.
