CAN someone tell us what Cheshire East Council is doing with the money it must have saved so far this winter?
With no green bin collections, no snow clearing and virtually no gritting, Cheshire East must have saved a lot of money.
I know that there is storm damage to clear, but according to the media the Government is helping with the cost.
If we lived in a perfect world, when the council is working out our council tax for next year, they might consider giving a small refund to the tax payers of Cheshire East.
This would compensate for all the trips to the tip they have had to make this winter to dispose of their green waste, having paid for this suspended service.
