Emma Watson has confessed that she finds it hard to watch her kissing scenes in new movie The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

The 22-year-old plays a free-spirited US student in the coming-of-age film, her first major post-Harry Potter project.

She admitted: "I can watch myself in all of it, it's more just that no one really wants to watch themselves kissing on screen, no one wants to watch themselves awkwardly dancing."

The 22-year-old, who shot to fame playing wizard Hermione Granger in the fantasy films, admitted she was a bit nervous about the new film.

"But at the same time I had such an amazing time making the film and it was very meaningful to me personally, and I was proud of the work," she added.

"So I was kind of OK about what anyone was going to say about it because I felt really good about it. But luckily people seem to be responding really well."
