Strictly Come Dancing professional Erin Boag has been showing off the baby boy for whom she left the BBC One show.
First-time mother Erin has revealed that due to a last-minute health fear, she was whipped into hospital and baby Ewan was delivered by Caesarean on her husband Peter O'Dowd's 50th birthday.
Explaining her decision to leave the show last year to start a family, she tells Hello! magazine: "We went to see producers in early June and I said 'thank you very much, but no thank you'.
"It was a bit of a shock to them. It was sad, but I was ready.
"I'd done 10 series - it was a great time in my life and I have very happy memories. I loved every series I did, every partner I had. I went out on a high."
In the interview she said she had hoped for a natural delivery at home but a scan at 39 weeks showed a mild case of polyhydramnios - excessive amniotic fluid - and she went in for the delivery three days before her due date.
"As I was being taken to the delivery room, I said I wanted Peter to hold him first," she said.
"When Ewan was born, they wrapped him up, handed him to Peter and I said, 'happy birthday'. It was a moment I'll treasure forever."
She said her professional dance partner Anton Du Beke has been asked to be godfather to the youngster.
