Lindsay Lohan has admitted that she has come close to falling off the wagon.
The Mean Girls star talked about her struggle with sobriety in her reality TV show Lindsay, which airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
According to the Daily Mirror, she said: "I do love the nightlife and hearing loud music and dancing and laughing and having fun. That's a great feeling.
"But it's knowing when you're able to be in that situation and not feel uncomfortable when someone has a drink around and stuff like that."
Asked if she was still sober, Lindsay said: "I'm sober but I've been very close. It's come very close and it's really scary."
She has apparently had trouble with her management and missed out on a role in The Avengers recently, and added: "I just want to be back on set. That makes me the happiest as a person - being able to be self-expressive through my work.
"That's my therapy. That feeds my soul. That keeps me going and that gives me the energy I need in life in general."
When her sobriety coach Michael was asked if she was still sober, he replied: "I don't know... The truth is that I'm not going to discuss whether or not Lindsay is still sober. That's between Lindsay and Lindsay. I have no hard evidence that she's not."
The actress was also shown doing community service and saying: "Working at the morgue, seeing the bodies and everything, it was scary to see some of the young kids that would come in that had passed away."
