Penelope Cruz has revealed that she loves breast-feeding her children.

The Spanish actress nursed her son Leonardo, and plans to continue with her daughter Luna, who was born in July.

"I was breast-feeding my son 13 months, and I plan to do the same with my daughter," she told Allure.

"[Nursing] is addictive. It's hard when the day comes when you have to stop," she added.

Penelope, who is married to Spanish actor Javier Bardem, also revealed that she has a special nickname for her close friend Salma Hayek.

"She's one of my best friends. We call each other huevos [eggs]," said The Counsellor actress.

"It was because when we were working together, we didn't have children yet, so we used to sleep much more than now. So it was a way to call each other lazy."

The 39-year-old added: "We slept in the same bed so many times and it was like she was always trying to wake me up and call me huevos."
