Victoria Beckham has revealed that she doesn't mind her background as Posh Spice.
The singer-turned-fashion designer reunited with her Spice Girls bandmates for the London Olympics last summer.
"I am very respectful of my past and the other girls and it was great to do the Olympics. I'm never going to be 'angry' when people mention my past, I mean it is what it is - it's great," she told Love magazine.
Mother-of-four Victoria - who offered hot cups of tea to guests at her New York Fashion Week show - impressed US fashion critics with her new Brit-inspired collection at New York's Public Library. Footballer husband David Beckham sat in the front row, and held their daughter Harper in his arms backstage as she did interviews.
"I am spending more time in England, although I miss America, but you see England in the fabrics. I'm always designing what I want to wear," she said as she introduced her new range.
The 38-year-old also admitted that fashion is her first love - and that she used to set her own trends at school.
"I was quite an awkward teenager, I was never particularly confident with my body or the way that I looked. I used to try and play around with everything, even try and customise my school uniform," she said.
"I used to set trends at school, I have to say. I did try to make the school uniform look a bit better than it actually did."
Victoria also confirmed that she will continue to show her fashion in New York each season, even though she has moved back to London, and is also "excited" about spending more time in Paris, following David's signing to Paris Saint Germain.
