Former X Factor winner Matt Cardle would like to see James Arthur win this year's competition but thinks Christopher Maloney will do it.
The 2010 victor said he has not seen much of the show but will tune in at the weekend to watch the two-part final.
James, Christopher and Jahmene Douglas will compete for the recording contract, and Matt thinks there could be a surprise result.
"I couldn't see as much of it as I wanted to, or should have done, through being so busy recording and being back and forward to the US. It's a shame that Ella isn't in the final but it's great that James is there. But I think I will stick my money on Mr Maloney.
"James is a great artist but you never know what can happen, and Christopher has been getting a lot of votes."
Bookmaker William Hill has Jahmene as favourite at 5/4, while James is at 11/8 and Christopher trails on 7/2.
Christopher has come from early odds of 100/1 to make it to the final.
Whoever wins will follow in the footsteps of Matt, and he offered some words of advice.
"If you write your music, which I know James does but I'm not sure if Jahmene or Chris do, make sure you write your album because it's the only way to stay true to yourself musically. Other than that, just have fun in the aftermath but don't go too mad."
Matt was speaking after his performance at the Cash For Kids charity event in Glasgow. The 29-year-old parted company with label Syco Music, run by Simon Cowell, earlier this year but said he has had an "amazing" year.
