CHAMPIONSHIP leader Oliver Webb faces his next track test on Sunday.

The Knutsford teenager heads to Croft for rounds nine and 10 of the Michelin Formula Renault UK Championship, a series he leads by 15 points from closest rival Dean Stoneman.

And Webb, 18, arrives in the north east in high spirits after scoring two podium finishes in front of family and friends at home circuit Oulton Park last time out.

The Fortec Motorsport ace has finished inside the top three on four occasions, scoring points in each of the eight races.

“I am reaping the benefits of finishing every race so far,” he said.
