KNUTSFORD’S four teams in the Warrington and District Netball League each celebrated a winning start to the winter season on Wednesday.
The first team were 33-13 victors against Saints in Division One, while Knutsford’s seconds edged Warrington fourths by three points in the same section.
It was a simpler task for Knutsford’s thirds, conquerors of Hallbridge in Division Two, while the club’s fourth team saw off Saints Black 18-7 in Division Three.
“It’s a promising start with a brilliant set of results,” said spokesman Kate Kindred.
Meanwhile Knutsford began their Cheshire Elite League Premier Division campaign at the weekend with a 66-35 defeat against Chester Blue.
