Jenkinson eighth going into final round

KNUTSFORD’S Adam Jenkinson scored points for the seventh successive race in the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship at the weekend.
He placed ninth at the finish on board his Padgetts-prepared Honda at Silverstone, leaving him eighth in the riders’ standings ahead of the season’s final round.
The Bucklow Hill-based ace had qualified 16th on Saturday, climbing seven places by the time the flag came down.
