EGERTON’S slow start to the Altrincham and District Amateur Football League season continued as they lost at home to AFC Quarry in Division One on Saturday.
The men from Mereheath Lane have lost all five games played to date, leaving them penultimate bottom in the standings.
Knutsford A’s scheduled encounter at home to Salford was postponed.
