KNUTSFORD Sports Club’s results were mixed on the opening night of the North West Counties Squash League season.

John Burke, Glen Faulkener, Justin Risley and Chris Smith claimed victories in their head-to-heads to help Sports’ first team to beat Congleton in Division Three South East.

In the battle of clubmates at the level below, Knutsford Sports’ seconds cruised to victory against Sports’ thirds while the Mereheath Lane outfit’s fourths were on the wrong end of a heavy reverse at Alderley Edge 4ths in Division Five South.
