KNUTSFORD remain nine points clear of their closest rivals at the Cheshire League summit after scoring a ninth successive win in Division One this term.

Once Carlos Edmondson had put Reds ahead inside two minutes, they were favourites for victory.

A second goal did not arrive until an hour later though, this time Dean Warburton supplying an assist for Sean Lynch to turn and shoot into the top corner.

Michael Cartner conjured a third goal when he crossed the penalty area before serving Edmondson to double his tally from close range.

Substitute Lee Mannion added gloss later, applying a finishing touch from Liam Myers’ pass.
