KNUTSFORD’S men reached the last four of the Cheshire Plate after sending out higher-ranked opponents.

The Black Knights defeated Tameside 3-2 to set up a semi finals date with Sale after Christmas.

They now turn their attention to the North West League this Saturday when Formby provide the opposition at Westfield Drive, push back 1.45pm.

The men’s seconds visit City of Manchester thirds in Division Five South, while Knutsford thirds play Bramhall in Division Eight South East the same day.

North West Men’s League Division Two, this Saturday (1.45pm): Knutsford v Formby. Division Five South (3pm): City of Manchester 3rds v Knutsford 2nds. Division Eight South East (3pm): Stockport Bramhall 3rds v Knutsford 3rds.
