A FOURTH successive defeat on Saturday leaves Toft 26 points short of safety in the Chapel Press Cheshire County League’s top tier with three matches left.
The Knutsford outfit was bowled out for 127 at Marple, Shaun Mudalige (47) offering most resistance to the spin of Andy Greasley (6-60) and the pace of Jimmy Ormond (3-38).
Toft were more successful in the field after tea as the hosts struggled to victory at 130-7, spin pair Danny Hancock (3-53) and Nigel Muirhead (3-44) sharing the wickets.
