Cricket club plan is to spend cash on its ground

TOFT Cricket Club says it will spend sponsors’ money on improving its Booth Park home.

Wilmslow-based Blue Bell Bodyshop has confirmed the renewal of its support for the Chapel Press Cheshire County League club for another season, much to the delight of chairman Nigel Muirhead.

He said: “The contribution they make supports the club in what we all know are very difficult times.

“We are always looking to improve our facilities as well as contributing to the ongoing development of our junior players.

“Sponsorship helps us to do this, so we are very grateful.”

Blue Bell Bodyshop joined forces with the club for the first time last summer.

“Toft Cricket Club is going from strength to strength and we are very excited to play a part in their continuing success,” said service director Robert Buckley.
