Rugby clubs are back in training for new season

KNUTSFORD’S rugby players have started to practice ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

Senior players meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Knutsford High School to prepare for another title at the South Lancashire & Cheshire Division Three top spot.

Their start the season at home to Parkonians in September.

New players are welcome to join.

Blues intend to host their annual meeting, as well as dish out prizes to the best performers last time around on Friday week, July 6 at Knutsford Sports Club.

Neighbours and league rivals Holmes Chapel have started training too.

Their players meet every Tuesday and Thursday at the club’s Station Road home from 7pm.
