Guests welcomed to new event

GYMNASTS at a club in Knutsford have played host to competitors from teams across the county for the first time.
More than 150 children took part in Gymfinity Gymnastics Club’s first competition at Egerton Youth Club, sharing set routines one session and another to music later on.
“It went really well,” said Gymfinity head coach Ruth Chapman.
“All of the gymnasts took part had a fantastic day, with the top three performers on the floor and vault winning medals.”
Gymfinity members also performed a display put together for the occasion.
Knutsford mayor, Clr Vivien Davies, presented the prizes with one of her predecessors, Tony Ranfield.
