HOLDER Lee Cadman starts the defence of his Knutsford League Len Gallimore Pairs crown with a different partner today, Thursday.
A champion with Crosstown clubmate Howard Taylor last season, he teams up with Jamie Mottershead this time around.
They take on Swettenham duo Ian Gough and Bob Barber at Wilmslow BC.
Qualifying takes place across three greens – Alderley Sports and Social Club and Railway are the others – after which eight tandems will reserve a place in next month’s quarter finals.
