Royal London A are still top dogs

TITLE hopefuls Royal London A start 2012 with a six-points advantage at the Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League summit after a whitewash of Mobberley C.

Champions Mobberley A ceded a single frame to Shaw Heath B as they won in similarly impressive fashion the same day.

Mobberley B edged out Tatton, while Morley proved too strong for Wilmslow Cons B.

There is no change at the top of Division Two, where Brook Street have a three-points advantage after thrashing Mobberley D while fellow front runners Mere A and Shaw Heath A wins at the expense of Knutsford Cons A and Wilmslow Cons C respectively.

Elsewhere there were victories for Mere B at home to Royal London B, and Knutsford Cons C defeated fellow strugglers Mere C in their basement clash.
