Greene and Routs stand out
GEMMA Greene and Fiona Routs caught the eye in mixed results for Knutsford teams in the opening games of the Warrington and District Netball Winter League season.
Goalkeeper Greene’s efforts in disrupting attacking play in the circle made her player of the match in Knutsford Netball Club first-team’s 52-30 loss to Capricorn in the Premier Division.
The seconds defeated Warrington’s fourths 36-25 in Division One, with centre Routs standing out for her feeding of the shooting circle.
