KNUTSFORD will launch their latest attempt to win the Cheshire League title next month by playing back-to-back home games.

Reds kick off a new campaign on Tuesday, August 8 when promoted Warrington Town reserves visit Manchester Road.

Altrincham reserves, sixth last term, are then due in town the following Saturday.

The Cheshire League announced the opening week’s fixtures in the Premier Division during a live transmission on Monday.

Egerton, hopeful of challenging towards the top of League One next term, will head to Daten for their first game.

Yellows then host Golborne at Mereheath Lane.

Meanwhile Knutsford A, with new boss Jordan Gunter at the helm, begin the defence of their Reserves Division title with a trip to their Daten counterparts on Thursday, August 10.

A quick turnaround sends them to Billinge 48 hours later.
