KNUTSFORD could not stop Capricorn’s climb towards the Warrington and District League’s Premier Division summit when they met last week.
Goal-defence Abi Lynch was their best performer in a 50-22 reverse at Hope Academy.
Sam Jones’ consistency in front of goal made her the outstanding player for Knutsford’s seconds in a thrilling 37-37 draw with Saints in Division One, leaving them third in the table.
It was a difficult night for Knutsford’s thirds, who lost 56-7 against pace-setting Beechwood seconds in the third tier.
Ellie McGinnis, at wing attack, was nominated as best on court.
