MOBBERLEY A remain on course to win a Knutsford and District Amateur League double after cruising to victory in their Team Knockout semi-final last week.
Despite giving Brook Street A, a rival in Division One, a 100-point handicap head-start, they still won handsomely after amassing 495.
Steve Flinders’ run of 47 was a highlight in one-sided encounter at Wilmslow Cons.
Morley were a man down for their last-four encounter with Division Two leaders Mobberley C, although Colin Hamer’s 120-point return in the opening frame gave them hope.
However they could not build on a promising start, eventually bowing out by a 99-point margin on aggregate.
The final, at Alderley Union, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22.
