A 7-0 success against Brook Street A launched their title defence, while Mobberley B saw off Morley.
Newcomers Alderley Union, returning to the competition after more than a decade away, edged Wilmslow Cons A and Shaw Heath squeezed past Tatton.
In Division Two, Mobberley C proved too strong for Mobberley D.
Mere B won a battle with Mere A to signal their intention of a swift return to the top flight after being relegated, while Wilmslow Cons B eased past neighbours Wilmslow RBL.
Brook Street B saw off Mere C in the other game played.
