TEENAGE newcomer Amelia McDonald helped Knutsford overturn a deficit to win their latest Warrington and District League encounter last Wednesday.
The centre was picked afterwards as her side’s star turn following a 31-24 success in the Premier Division against Warrington Town thirds, who had established a three-goal lead by the end of the third quarter.
Knutsford take on Greenbank in their final fixture tonight, Wednesday.
Another 16-year-old, goal shooter Becky Moston, was the outstanding performer for Knutsford’s seconds in a 22-13 victory against their Halton counterparts in Division One.
They will conclude the summer campaign following a meeting with Imagine8 at Hope Academy in Newton-le-Willows.
Knutsford’s third, fourth and fifth teams finished their respective schedules last month.
