KNUTSFORD returned to winning ways at Styal in the Cheshire Alliance on Saturday, when their bowlers were in control throughout.
Adeel Bhatti (5-27) and Rizwan Hosnain (3-10) combined to help dismiss the hosts for 70 after the men from Mereheath Lane had won the toss.
They cruised to victory in reply, led by Zeeshan Shah (30no).
As a result they rise to third in the Division Two table ahead of a return match with Hartford, to whom they lost narrowly earlier this month, this weekend.
Knutsford's seconds suffered a seven-wicket reverse at home to their Mossley counterparts in the East Division.
Ashish Abraham (35no) was one of only three batsmen to contribute a double-digit score as they closed on 110-9.
Mossley made it to their target with four overs to spare thanks to opener Barry Carney (36no) anchoring the innings.
