MOBBERLEY B rise to fifth position in the Knutsford and District Amateur League’s top flight following a whitewash of slow-starters Brook Street B last Tuesday.
Mobberley A matched that feat, with Tatton on the receiving end.
Morley restricted Brook Street A to a single frame, but still lost ground on the table-toppers, while Wilmslow Cons A eased to a comfortable home win against Mere B.
In Division B, Morley B share top spot with Wilmslow RBL after both recorded wins.
Under-performing Mobberley D could not halt the former, while Mobberley C went down at Wilmslow.
Elsewhere, Mere A recorded a much-needed win at Wilmslow Cons B, while Shaw Heath’s 6-1 defeat of Mobberley E sends them up to third place.
