ADAM Jenkinson hopes his luck changes when he races at Thruxton this weekend in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship.
The Knutsford rider crashed out of the seventh round at Brands Hatch on the second lap, a meeting that marked his return to the track following a two-month injury lay-off caused by an accident at Donington Park back in May.
"I felt I had the pace to win, so it was a real shame," he said.
"The bike itself is working really well, and I'm happy with the power and handling.
"We've been working hard to get to the bottom of what's causing a problem with the brakes. Once we do, I'm sure we can get a good finish again."
The 31-year-old will be back on board his Northern Escalator Installations-backed Yamaha R1 for qualifying on Saturday, with a race to follow on Sunday afternoon.
