Aimee Pratt is part of Cheshire's team for the English Schools' Track and Field Championships at Gateshead
STUDENTS from Knutsford Academy have been selected to represent Cheshire at the English Schools’ Track and Field Championships next week.
Katie Waterworth will contest the junior girls’ long jump at Gateshead, while Aimee Pratt runs in the senior girls’ steeplechase.
The former won a silver medal at last month’s county championships, a feat she followed with a personal-best leap in the Mason Trophy seven days later.
Pratt, 17, timed 4:59.0 to win the 1,500m steeplechase in the Cheshire Schools’ Championship.
Knutsford-based Ben Lee, from Grange School in Hartford, will run in the junior boys’ 800m.
