HOLDERS Knutsford B made it safely through to the last 16 of the Knutsford Friday League following a comfortable success against High Legh B.
They had to overturn a 20-chalk handicap deficit in the process.
Chelford B, runners-up in 2014, did not need the benefit of a 64-point head-start to see off higher-ranked Mere A, cruising to victory by 88.
Goostrey B also defeated opponents from a higher level in the form of Warford Park B.
Railway A won the tie of the round against Division One rivals Swettenham A by a margin of 10.
