KNUTSFORD A will secure the title if they can beat closest rivals Sandbach United reserves at Manchester Road tomorrow, Thursday.
Reds extended a winning sequence to 10 matches with a 3-1 victory at West Didsbury & Chorlton on Saturday, when substitute Howard Clayton – twice – and Steve Jenyons were on target.
Mark Evans had helped himself to a hat-trick during a 5-0 success at home to their Cuddington counterparts in midweek.
They will make sure of top spot in Cheshire League Reserve Division Two with three matches to spare if they collect maximum points against Sandbach.
At the weekend they turn their attention to the Reserve Division Challenge Cup when they visit Wythenshawe Town for a quarter-finals tie, kick off 3pm.
