UNBEATEN Holmes Chapel lead the way in North West Intermediate League Division Five South after a thumping win.
Centre Jim Moss broke through early on for Saturday’s first try.
Scores from full back Jed Wragg and fly half James McLennon followed, then a great offload from flanker Dan Henderson to man of the match Jack Baskerville allowed the number eight to touch down.
Brothers Danny and Jordan Kennedy combined for the former to add five points after the break.
“Although we had lots of excellent individual performances, it was most evident how we are playing very well as a team and constantly striving to improve together,” said skipper Tom Chambers.
“I am confident that after the Christmas break we can carry on where we’ve left off.”
