CHAMPIONS Knutsford A inflicted a first defeat of the season on pace-setting Victory Hall A in the Knutsford Friday League’s latest round of matches.
Despite losing, the Mobberley outfit is still 21 chalks better off than closest rivals Railway A, who won at Cranford A.
In a battle between the leading pair in Division Two, front-runners Goostrey A protected a perfect record to date with victory at second-placed Mere B.
