KNUTSFORD’S netballers continued their pursuit on Wednesday of leaders Warrington Town thirds in the Warrington and District League’s second tier.
A 28-15 success against Millstone leaves them a point adrift of the pace-setters.
Knutsford seconds inflicted a first defeat of the summer season on Halton Krystalz in Division Two, winning 27-17.
Panthers’ slender win against Knutsford third, by a single goal, promotes them above their rivals in the Division Three table.
There were victories too for Knutsford’s fourth and fifth teams, against Saints and Beechwood thirds respectively, at the level below.
