A KNUTSFORD teenager took victory in the Deauville Young Rider Grand Prix.
Dominic Webb, riding mum Isabelle’s 11-year-old chestnut stallion Whin Whin II for Team Fairfax, topped the leaderboard after posting the only clear round of the competition.
Webb, 19, and Whin Whin II were drawn first and the combination fought off more than 30 rivals tackling the 1.50m course by producing an unblemised performance in only 79.35secs.
It completed a day of celebration for Great Britain, whose Junior and Young Rider teams had secured second spot in the Nations Cup 24 hours earlier.
