KNUTSFORD’S seconds protected their perfect record in the Warrington and District League during the latest round of matches on Wednesday.
They defeated their Beechwood counterparts 31-12 to extend a winning sequence in Division Two to 13 matches.
It is a result that boosts the club’s third team, comfortable 22-10 victors against Halton Gemz, who are second in the standings.
Knutsford fourths won the week’s closest encounter by a single goal, edging Black Magic 16-15 in Division Three.
Hallbridge, favourites to finish in a promotion position in the same section, proved too strong for Knutsford fifths.
