FOOTBALL: Cup tie is a triller
EGERTON’S reserves eased through to the Cheshire League President’s Cup second stage following a thrilling 6-4 win against their Middlewich Town counterparts at the weekend.
Rob Hughes bagged a brace for the Knutsford outfit, with further goals from Michael Simmons, Rob Spilsbury and Brad West.
They return to league duty at home to Gamesley this Saturday, when the first team visit Penlake in Division Two.
