EGERTON host struggling Sale Town at Mereheath Lane this Saturday hoping to avenge a 4-2 defeat against the Cheshire League newcomers back in August.
The Knutsford outfit had been due to visit Division Two pacesetters Poynton last weekend after the Guardian had gone to press.
Meanwhile Egerton reserves welcomed Middlewich Town the same day.
They are not scheduled to play again for a fortnight though, with their Greenalls counterparts set to visit on January 11.
