ROWING: Ford on water
TOM Ford, from Holmes Chapel, took part in GB Rowing’s second winter assessment at Boston on Saturday.
He was part of a Newcastle University Boat Club pair with Sam Arnot that completed a 5km course in 19:23.14, placing them inside the top 20.
The victors timed 18:02.46.
